The THRIVE Score

The THRIVE Score is a clinical scoring system designed to help clinicians better understand and communicate a patient's chances of having a good outcome after acute ischemic stroke.

What is your patient's NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score?
What is your patient's age?
Does your patient have a history of hypertension? YES
NO
Does your patient have a history of diabetes mellitus? YES
NO
Does your patient have a history of atrial fibrillation? YES
NO

Does your patient have a large vessel occlusion (LVO)? YES
NO or Unknown
What is the ASPECTS on the initial head CT?
